GamerSource publishes two kinds of pages: verified Roblox code lists and game server hosting comparisons. This page explains exactly how each one is researched and checked, so you can judge how much weight to give our picks.
How we verify Roblox codes
- We test codes on real accounts, not copy-paste lists. Every code on an active list is redeemed in-game before it goes up. We log the reward it gave us (amount, duration, any level gate).
- We record level requirements. Some games gate codes behind levels (for example, level 30 codes in Anime Vanguards). Each code entry notes the gate so you know before you try.
- We re-check on a schedule. Code lists are re-tested regularly and always after major game updates. Expired codes are moved to the expired section the same day we confirm they stopped working.
- We keep expired codes on record. You can look up an old code to confirm it is dead instead of wasting a login trying it.
How we compare game server hosting
- Hardware, not marketing: CPU generation and clock speed, RAM included, storage type (NVMe vs SATA), and what the entry plan actually delivers.
- Real pricing: first-term price versus renewal price, and what changes after promos end. The “cheap” plan that doubles at renewal gets called out.
- Support and policies: response channels, refund windows, DDoS protection claims, and control panel quality, checked against consistent user reports (Trustpilot, community threads) when we have not been hands-on with a provider.
- Fit over hype: we match hosts to games and player counts. The best host for a 5-player Valheim world is rarely the best for a 100-player Rust cluster.
What we don’t do
- We don’t repost other sites’ code lists without testing them ourselves.
- We don’t claim hands-on testing we didn’t do. When a verdict is based on specs and verified user reports rather than our own server time, we say so on the page.
- We don’t publish “unlimited” or “free Robux” claims, and we never link to generators. Those are scams.
How we make money
Some hosting links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is how the site pays for its testing and daily updates. It does not change our rankings or verdicts, and we say clearly when a provider is the cheapest option but not the best one. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
